Chapter Six
“Why’d you run?” Ray’s voice echoed in the dark. He’d forgotten how the sounds carried out here. He trod water, waiting for his eyes to adjust to the darkness.
“It was so much. Do you know how hot it was watching you sniff my panties? I never thought I’d find someone who could accept this part of me and I was going to explode.”
“Now that would have been hot.” Ray swam closer.
Piper dodged him, slipping through Ray’s fingers. He could play that game. They chased each other around the water, Piper always just out of his reach. After the intense experience in the cabin where he’d exploded like a teenager, it was nice to cool off and enjoy the night. Ray grabbed at Piper’s legs, but the other man somehow twisted out of the grasp and ducked underwater.
Ray was not expecting the warm mouth to encase his cock. He splashed in the water and went under. Laughter echoed around the lake when he surfaced. He looked around and couldn’t see the little shit anywhere. A slap to his ass brought him around to face a grinning, wet Piper. He could stare at that happy face for days and never get tired. Piper was meant for happiness.
Ray finally caught Piper off guard, snagged him around the middle and hauled him in close.
“I’ve never… Ray, I’ve never done—anything,” Piper whispered against his lip, suddenly serious.
He was trying to kill Ray with his words. Ray groaned into the kiss and Piper wrapped his legs around Ray, hanging on for all he was worth. Ray swam them back to shore.
“We should go inside.” Ray got them both standing and guided Piper to the house.
“Did I say something wrong?” Piper bit his lip and all Ray wanted to do was soothe it with his tongue.
“No. God, no. Scratch that thought.” Ray needed to cool down.
He’d forgotten to turn the washer on when Piper had run out of the house and hadn’t even thought about towels. Piper was shivering in the doorway. Ray couldn’t tell if it was nerves or cold. That was enough to wilt his cock and get his mind in the game. He’d have to fix both. He gathered the clothes, started the washer and went to find towels. Piper hadn’t moved from his spot.
“Get over here.” Ray held a big towel open and Piper walked right over.
Ray wrapped the towel and his arms around Piper, just holding him steady. Showing him support in the only way he knew how, through his touch. He’d always been touchyfeely. The kids hated it, but it brought him peace.
“You’re so big,” Piper murmured against Ray’s chest.
“What?” He wasn’t completely sure what Piper was talking about. Being big wasn’t news to either of them. He towered over Piper. Hell, from the back people wouldn’t be able to tell Piper was there.
“I mean—everywhere. Will…will it…fit?”
Ray closed his eyes. Piper was so innocent. Maybe it hadn’t been the best idea to bring him up here. He was still so young and not just in years, but in experience.
